PHP: Who does not?

PHP and' one of the languages that you hear more talk, either by its nature open-source, either by the formidable coupled and that 'PHP-MySQL ...

Recently I went over to this language and I tried a complete manual, but do not assume (in the sense that it teaches the basics of programming, just h) and at the same time with an affordable price (which is almost impossible in computer : () ...

But I found an excellent manual, which covers over all aspects of language also advanced many aspects of the Web explained clearly and perfectly conveys the overall picture in which PHP is inserted.

The manual and 'this:
-> 's Guide to PHP " Tim Converse, Joyce Park: Second Edition and handbook from 15.5 €!

of positive reviews, I found two particularly complete:
-> 2003 edition (the version is not great handbook)
-> current edition (the version handbook but short review)

Only a few ideas:
  • weblog

  • php web services and xml

The interesting thing IMHO of PHP over other languages and 'the structure of the array: powerful and uniting virtually all advanced facilities (other than the simple array of C) ...

So if you are looking for a cheap but comprehensive book on the world with PHP this is not wrong!

Calorie In One Grilled Shrimp

OT: some news

start with some news from the IT world ...

Meanwhile I wanted to point that last week and I 'arrived (finally:)) the first issue of Point Computer SOLID what else is not' a monthly magazine of the homonymous now free online.
The first time that an online site becomes paper and not the other way ...

My opinion on this issue and 'very positive, size and' very useful and readable, eye-catching graphics and content very interesting. To be free is based on advertising 'but that' is quite simple and in any case less than other magazines (fee: Professional PC for one thing ...).
The authors and contributors are the same counterparty on-line and final book 'held by a great myth of the Communication Network: Gandalf.it (strongly suggest you visit this site and read everything:)).

gone on to another: and talk about MS, for a change ... and ' inevitable, but this morning PI always has a hilarious article that defined and almost childlike and 'just say ... "The Myths of Linux 'and' the title ...
E 'again the classic FUD (Fear, Uncertainty, and Doubt) but here it borders on the ridiculous:

"Who is responsible for the security of the Linux kernel? - You asked - Red Hat takes that responsibility ? It can not, because it does not produce the Linux kernel. It produces a distribution. " Things would be different but he said the proprietary software world where "Microsoft's customers know that we take our responsibilities, they know they will upgrade and patch."
The obvious thing and 'everyone knows (or should know) that the software and' always free of liability insurance 'by its very nature imperfect ... and MS says it clearly in ' EULA (End User License Agreement - the license): 16-17-18
articles are illustrative in this regard ...
also visible on the PI forums:
http://punto-informatico.it/forum/pol.asp?mid=877736

and other points better draw a veil:
mission-critical, look link on the TOP500 Linux clusters and see how we ... Moving on to things more

'series:
how to use the time in a useful way popular USB flash drives: never again 'to start with the floppy ... we use an OS other than floppy!
-> Linux on a USB stick:)

Finally I wanted to signal a resurgence of a new character uncomfortable and his new tour:
-> Beppe Grillo, from shows to blog

Glazing With Walnut Alkyd

Comments on RDF and display random

RDF takes in my opinion a very important role when in fact it becomes transparent, ie 'silent ... but at the same time, developers need tools that use it directly in more 'simple and powerful than those pre-existing.

The interesting thing about the current phase and cmq 'that you can' continuously experiment :)

A look at a little tool that I had already 'link, but I'm reconsidering, extispicious:
-> http://kevan.org/extispicious.cgi?name=dagoneye

In fact, the service also makes it clear on which it rests, and that ' del.icio.us , and focuses attention on the content ... tags and their visual importance without many frills, but the simplicity 'of the text ...

NOTE: It 's likely that this representation is also particularly significant because' tags are highly representative (chosen by the user), and the overall picture captures a moment in the interests of a single User

Here's another incentive:
-> http://frenchfragfactory.net/ozh/archives/2004/10/02/wordpress-category-map/

This has instead used the same idea to see in an "artistic" categories of WordPress ...

And this gave me an idea:
- use the same technique in a natural way to view a document RDF ... with the same simplicity 'and immediate ...
- then create a small script for documents on children ..

Soon some news about it ...

Who Do I Unblock Runescape In The School?

OT: another blow to Bill Gates:) A few words about

Who does not remember the presentation of Windows 98 during one of Fairs computer world, where Bill Gates was left dumbfounded in front of the classical BOD (Blue of Death, the blue screen error:)) but wanted to present the USB interface?

Be 'these days has made another ...

del.icio.us

del.icio.us and 'a service that calls itself a "social bookmarking" and is able to save the link of your interest according to keywords chosen by the user both to show what users are using a link and how many are ..

"del.icio.us is a social bookmarks manager. It Allows You To Easily add sites you like to your personal collection of links, to categorize Those sites with keywords, and to share your collection not only Between your own browsers and machines, But Also with others.
....
What makes del.icio.us a social system is ability ITS to let you see the links That Have Collected others, as well as showing you who else has bookmarked a specific site. Also you can view the links Collected by others, and subscribe to the website of People Whose lists you find interesting.

Link to the site and 'this:
http://del.icio.us

It' s not the only service that you are venturing in this enterprise, but it 'and has evolved quite a lot of API interesting, visible here (change often cmq):
http://del.icio.us/doc/api

When dealing with such a service people are experimenting with new services starting from this , and a nice, 'this:
http://kevan.org/extispicious.cgi?name=dagoneye

In practice takes the tags (keywords) used by an authority and makes it the second rendering a layout based on their frequency of use and their visibility '... just using the span tags and the spatial coordinates: cute, no?

My links are obvious:

In most 'early-depth look at an API ...
