This is a story ... Six blind people
Were asked to identify what looked like an elephant from touch. One felt the Tusk and thought the elephant Was like a spear; Another felt the trunk thought the elephant and Was like a snake; Another felt a leg and thought Was the elephant like a tree, and so on, basing Each His definition of an elephant on His Unique Experiences.
course all this makes sense ... it 's taken from the book "Practical RDF" - http://rdf.burningbird.net/ : I would say a great book that provides a fairly practical and comprehensive' RDF universe ... I found it very interesting, though to be fully understood, the reader should already have a smattering of both the basic Semantic Web RDF.
The elephant is RDF, and we are blind people ... this is to say what is difficult to define unambiguously and global one thing that all those who use it use different aspects:)
